Privacy Policy

Personal Contact Information

Versadu may collect the following information from our site visitors: first name, last name, street address, area and city, phone and contact numbers, e-mail address, GPS location (mobile site) (collectively, "Personally Identifiable Information" or "PII").

Furthermore, Versadu may collect information about past Versadu orders, favorite restaurants, customer service inquiries, service/restaurant reviews, and certain social networking preferences of Versadu account holders (e.g. pages you "Like" or "Recommend").

Versadu also employs web analytics software to track and analyse site traffic in connection with Versadu advertising and service promotion. Versadu may publish or share these statistics with third parties without including PII.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information (or "Non-PII") is information that is aggregated, demographic, or does not reveal your specific identity. We and our third-party service providers may collect Non-PII from you, such as your MAC address, computer type, screen resolution, operating system version, Internet browser, and demographic data, such as your location, gender, and date of birth, and we may aggregate PII in such a way that the end product does not personally identify you or any other user of the Site. For example, we could use PII to calculate the percentage of our users who have a specific phone area code. Cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and other similar technologies may also be used by us and our third-party service providers to provide you with more tailored information and to facilitate your continued use of our Site. If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, most browsers have a simple procedure for declining the use of cookies. To find out more about cookies, go to http://www.allaboutcookies.org/.

IP addresses are the Internet Protocol addresses assigned to the computers you use. Your Internet Service Provider assigns your IP Address to the computer you are using automatically (ISP). When users visit the Site, this number is automatically identified and logged in our server log files, along with the time(s) of such visit(s) and the page(s) that were visited. Collecting IP addresses is common practice on the Internet, and many websites do it automatically.

Use of your information

Versadu collects PII from users in order to create their Versadu accounts, communicate with them about Versadu services, offer them additional services, promotions, and special offers, and charge them for purchases made through Versadu. By visiting www.Versadu.com, users can affirmatively opt-out of receiving promotional communications from Versadu. Personal account page, as well as providing Versadu with their email address via the opt-out link. Versadu may also use PII to enforce its terms of service and use.

Versadu uses cookies to remember users and improve the user experience on the site. When users with Versadu accounts return to the site, cookies recognise them and allow the site to provide user-specific information such as Versadu login information, website language selection, and country selection, in addition to any other information we may collect in the future. Versadu does not sell any of the data it collects to third parties. Versadu discloses collected PII to third-party vendors and service providers with whom Versadu collaborates to provide application programming interfaces ("APIs") and other site functions related to the delivery of Versadu services. Furthermore, Versadu shares users' Versadu order content, special order instructions, first and last name, street address, and phone number with restaurants where users' orders are placed to the extent required to process those orders. Versadu may also disclose PII to third parties such as attorneys, collection agencies, tribunals, or law enforcement authorities in response to valid requests related to alleged violations of Versadu's terms of use and service or other alleged contract violations, infringement, or similar harm to persons or property.

Non-Personally Identifiable Data. We may use Non-PII for any purpose because it does not personally identify you. Furthermore, we reserve the right to share Non-PII that does not personally identify you with our affiliates and other third parties for any reason. In some cases, we may combine Non-PII and PII (such as combining your name with your geographical location). If we combine any Non-PII with PII, we will treat the combined information as PII for the duration of the combination.

IP addresses. We use IP addresses for a variety of purposes, including calculating Site usage levels, diagnosing server problems, and administering the site. We may use and disclose IP Addresses for the same reasons we use and disclose PII. Please be aware that, except where required by applicable law, we treat IP addresses, server log files, and related information as Non-PII.

Your Email Address

You must provide us with your email address or other information that will allow us to contact you online and over the phone in order to create an account. We use your
e-mail address and other contact information to confirm your order and communicate with you if there is a problem with it, so you cannot register without one. If you give us your email address, you can later access it, update it, modify it, and delete any errors by logging into your account and clicking the my account information link on the user main page.
You can also choose not to provide us with your email address; however, you will be unable to register on the website or place orders if you do. We share some of your contact information with the member restaurant from which you placed an order (name, surname, order delivery address, and phone number). This information is also used to facilitate and improve your use of the website, to communicate with you, for internal purposes, and to comply with any legal requirements. This information may be disclosed to our employees and third-party service providers involved in the delivery of your order or the analysis and support of your website use. We do not sell or disclose your personal contact information to third parties except as specified in this Privacy Policy unless we are legally permitted or required to do so (for example, if required to do so by Court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime).

ATM, Credit Card, Debit Card, wallet, and Payment information

When you place an order through the website, you must select a payment method. Versadu is not interested in your debit/credit card, or wallet information, nor does it store any of it, because orders can be paid at the door directly to the restaurant using methods such as cash, credit card, or payment checks. Online debit/credit card payment is also an option, and in some cases, the only method of payment. During order processing, we transmit your entire card information to the appropriate debit/credit card company in an encrypted format using globally accepted rules and applications for online debit/credit card transactions. We keep a portion of your card information in an encrypted format at your request, taking precautions to maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards over your credit card information.

Order Placement Information

Name, address, phone number, email address, and other similar information are required during the order process to identify you and complete an order. When processing your order, personal information collected on our site will be shared with a restaurant. We have an agreement with all of our member restaurants that limits the disclosure or further processing of personal information that we provide to them. Your personal information will be used to notify you of the status of your order. Without your permission, we will not share your personal information with any of our business partners or affiliates. It is considered confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by applicable law. We only send marketing emails to people who have expressly requested to receive them.

Navigate and click stream data

We collect navigational and click stream data as you browse our website, which shows which pages you have visited, what features you have used, how long you have stayed on a particular page, and so on. This data will not reveal your identity or be associated with you personally. This information is used to complete, support, and analyse your purchases from us; to facilitate and improve your use of the website; to comply with any legal requirements; to serve, or have a third-party service, specialised or relevant advertising content and/or recommendations to you on the website or on the website of a third party; and for internal purposes. This information may be disclosed only to our staff and third-party service providers involved in the completion of your transaction, the delivery of your order, and the analysis and support of your website use.

We May Use Advertising Companies to serve ads for us

These companies may use cookies and action tags to track the effectiveness of their advertising. They may also use this technology to serve you with customised or relevant advertising content and/or recommendations on the website or on their websites. Any information collected by these third parties through cookies and action tags is completely anonymous and contains no personal contact information.

Marketing

Without your explicit consent, we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may combine your information with that of other companies and use it to improve and personalise our services, content, and advertising. If you do not want to receive marketing communications from us via e-mail or participate in our ad-customization programmes, simply notify us via e-mail or log into your account at the website to change your relevant settings via the my account link on the user main page.

Do we disclose your personal Information

We may disclose your information to our employees and third-party vendors involved in the delivery of your order, as well as the analysis and support of your website use. We may disclose your information if we believe it is necessary to protect our legal rights, if the information relates to actual or threatened harmful conduct, or if we have a good faith belief that such action is required to (1) conform to the requirements of law or comply with governmental orders, court orders, or legal process served on us, or (2) protect and defend our property or other rights, website users, or the public. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations to protect against fraud and credit risk.

How is Personally Identifiable Information Disclosed

To third-party Promotions sponsors (whether or not such Promotions are hosted by us), or otherwise in accordance with the rules applicable to such Promotion. You should carefully read the rules, if any, of each Promotion in which you participate, as they may contain additional important information about the use of your PII by a sponsor or other third parties. If the terms and conditions of such rules regarding the treatment of your PII conflict with this Privacy Policy, the terms and conditions of such rules will take precedence.

In the event of a reorganisation, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets, or stock to an affiliate or other third party (including without limitation in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

To protect PII under our control, we employ reasonable organisational, technical, and administrative safeguards.
